Miguel is a talented international artist and who resides in Panchimalco, near the capital city of San Salvador. His art is currently owned and displayed at the Vatican in Rome and by Hiliary Clinton. He has a passion for people that is evident in his art... and in his actions...
Miguel's studio and art gallery is located in the historical village of Panchimalco, a short distance from San Salvador. It is here that he creates vivid and touching pictures of children, often in their native costumes, always with their beautifully expressive eyes, and always with doves of hope incorporated into his paintings.
Although he speaks only Spanish, Miguel has trusted friends, like Anne Marie Lions, to translate for him.
As well as co-creating the Canadian West Coast Children's Art Exhibition, Miguel has created a privately funded art school at his studio... available to all children, at no cost.
He mentors and encourages these budding young artists to express themselves through art, paint and canvas.
Miguel welcomes visitors to the studio, art gallery and art school.
